Foxanne is a rare soul caught between two worlds. Her foxen ears, moonlit-tipped tails, and uncanny command of mana mark her as something both wondrous and dangerous. In her village, she draws reverence from those who value power and suspicion from those who cling to the old ways. Her dual heritage sets her apart, a living challenge to traditions bound to the Green Word.

Roleplay Fopaux

God modding  is when a character features god-like abilities, such as invincibility, mind control, or other unrealistic powers that might not fit with lore. Another form is when your character does something impossible that could kill them. Meta gaming   is when a player applies out of charter retrieved information to their in-character, such as having information that only several in-characters players knows, and you obtained it without having your character there, or by just hearing it from others out of character.

Lore breaking  is when a character breaks lore, which is anything that likely affects a character or scenario. The basis for these commonalities is origin, culture, and known historical events.  Power-playing  occurs when a player operates someone's character without the other player's consent. The most blatant example of this would be a player writing, "Your character falls off the cliff when he walks up to it." As you can see, you take active control of what the other character does. Not only is this not fair to the other player, but it's also discouraged because often players will misconstrue the behaviors and personalities of characters they didn't design.

A Mary-Sue   is a specific kind of character that has a lot of feats, and no flaws. A Mary-Sue is any character (of any gender, age, race, or species) who fits one or more of these descriptions:
> A character who’s too perfect, lacking realistic or logical flaws, or whose flaws do not affect them in any ways.
> A character who’s exactly like their creator, except idealized or made “better”.
> A character who’s far too powerful, especially whose abilities exceed that which is possible for his/her race in the setting of the story. Particularly if said character has abilities that do not exist within the boundaries of the story’s world.

Biography

Foxanne carries a blend of traits that set her apart from all others in her village. In honor of her Viera father and to avoid angering the village’s maternal spirit, she is permitted to remain within the walls. Yet her snow-furred ears, scarlet-tipped tail, and gift for shaping mana make her both admired and feared.Though part Viera, whispers brand her an ill omen whose presence unsettles their quiet lives and draws the gaze of Yokai. To her kin, bound to the Green Word and rooted in custom, her kitsune blood is wild and unpredictable, a seed of possible ruin. One full-moon night, Foxanne’s latent foxfire flared out of control while dream walking, setting the fields ablaze. Though it was an accident, the fire cemented the villagers’ mistrust. Burdened by guilt and knowing her very existence could bring harm, she left the only home she had ever known.Beyond the safety of the forest, Foxanne learned of the intricate hierarchy among kitsune, and of her mother’s need to ascend as a Kiko: a fox spirit sworn to keep the balance of the forest under her Inari deity. As her powers deepened, so did the pull of her Yokai nature, tempting her toward mischief and chaos. She was forced to confront a choice: accept both her Viera and kitsune selves, or deny part of her being entirely. Her struggle echoed the greater rift between two worlds unwilling to work together. With cunning, agility, and newfound companions, Foxanne pressed on, learning that the harmony she sought beyond her village could only begin once she discovered it within herself.

The Incident

One evening, Foxanne’s latent abilities awaken as she unknowingly begins to dreamwalk through her village’s nightmares. She whimpered in her sleep, her fingers twitching. The energy she couldn’t control in her waking hours now flowed freely, unhindered by conscious thought. A spark flickered at her fingertips, then leapt into the air. In the quiet of the night, the first stalk caught fire. The flames spread quickly through the dry crops, licking at the golden stalks and climbing higher with every passing second. Smoke rose in dark plumes, blotting out the stars. The fire’s roar startled Foxanne awake to horrors of the village’s bounty being laid to waste before winter. The cutting looks in the eyes of her village told her they didn’t believe her—or perhaps they didn’t care. The fire was all they saw.Foxanne must now confront her powers, unravel the mystery of her dream walking, and find a way to prove her innocence before the village turns against her. Was the fire truly her doing, or is something darker at play? Can she control the wild magic within her before it destroys everything she holds dear?

Mysterious Mission

Determined to find her mother, Fox ventures to the Skatay Range, towards a shrine of the Inari, a place whispered to be infested with Yokai. Along the way, she encounters ChaCha, a business savvy lalafell who agrees to guide her to the realm of the yokai with a map in exchange for a favor: a Lunaris Bloom.Powers:
Dreamweaver's Grace: When brewed into a potion, it allows the drinker to enter the dreams of others, communicate across vast distances, or uncover deeply buried memories.
Moonlit Restoration: The petals, when crushed into a paste, can heal even the most grievous wounds and cure rare poisons, but only if applied under moonlight.
Veil of Shadows: When the petals are burned, the resulting smoke grants temporary invisibility and protection from detection by magical means.
Astral Sight: Consuming a single petal grants the ability to see magical auras and hidden forces for a short time, though overuse can lead to exhaustion or hallucinations.
Legends:
It's said that Lunaris Bloom is a gift from a celestial kitsune deity, and only those with a pure heart or a noble purpose can safely harvest it. Misusing its powers may bring curses or misfortune. Is Foxanne worthy of such a quest?
